This has been several years ago: My husband, and I decided to install a wood furnace in our home, and we did so without any issues. However, when it came time to duct it into our existing ductwork, we were at a loss. I call multiple companies big and small from larger cities and locally owned businesses; NO ONE wanted to touch this project. Finally on my list of people to call, I got to Countryside Repair right here in Lawrenceburg. Angie was very kind, and helpful, and Brian wasn’t afraid to take on the challenge. I was a little worried what it was going to cost due to this company being the only business willing to accept the job, but I was relieved when the bill was more than reasonable. The work still looks, (it’s exposed in our partially finished basement) and functions like new, easily heating our entire 2600 sq ft home. Huge thank you to Countryside Repair!!!!

Countryside Repair, Inc. easily deserves a five star rating. Our heat pump stopped working during an especially cold time of year and we were pleased to get an immediate response to our call for help. The team (owner and son who arrived at our home quickly) were professional and personable and, most importantly, highly knowledgeable about our Bosch heat pump system. They explained the problem in detail, replaced a part and stayed to ensure that the system was working properly. The fee for their service and the part was surprisingly low. (Note: We had used a different company 2 years ago for a heat pump issue and they charged literally 5 times more just to come and diagnose the problem!) In summary, we were very satisfied with Countryside Repair and give them our highest recommendation.

I give Countryside repair an AAA+++ rating and I would recommend them to anyone that wants a professional job at a great price. Brian, the technician gave me a quote on a 3 ton AC unit installed in my hundred-year-old house that’s never had a Central Air unit before. Brian the technician came took a look gave me a very reasonable quote within four days I have a very Nice central air unit cooling my home Perfectly now. it seemed to me like they take a lot of pride in their work and their quotes. The price they gave me is the price they stuck with no matter what. There were no hidden fees. I definitely recommend Countryside repair Brian and his wife are great honest people. I am a very satisfied customer.

I contacted Countryside Repaid to come out and give me a quote on a new heating and air system, had been told prior from previous company system could not be fixed that I needed to replace the system for almost 8,000.00. So I was getting a second quote from Countryside to compare pricing. Upon arriving he asked me what the issue was of what was wrong with the system I told him I was told it could not be fixed just replaced, he wanted to take a look at no charge and found a bad valve. Needless to say Countryside only charged me less than 700.00 to to get my system running! The tech came out on a Saturday to fix my ac, in less than an hour and I was working again! very pleased with the honesty and professionalism this company shows from the first phone call to completion. Couldn’t have asked for a better service very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. Highly recommended, my neighbor referred me to them and I will continue to call for future issues.Services: HVAC system repair

Would highly recommend for heating and air needs. Came out with temps below 0 and fixed my issue. Very reasonable pricing and the professionalism was highly appreciated, not something you see everyday. The technician explained everything so I could understand was was wrong and very down to earth. One of the easiest business I have delt with from the initial phone call to being back warm. Thank you Countryside!

Agreed in June 2022 to have them replace my geothermal system. Price was high, but Brian assured me he knew geothermal units well.Took almost 3 months for my ordered unit to arrive & Countryside communicated poorly during this delay & put my paperwork through more than a month before my installation, so I had 10 1/2 months instead of a year same as cash. Angie, part of the husband & wife team that compromise this company, promised she'd fix this; she never did.I could live with that. But the big problem I'm having is not so easy to take. A byproduct of geothermal is the production of hot water. Brian assured me he could make that happen for me as I had installed a new hot water heater a few years ago & not connected it to the old geothermal system. He did to the new, & though it worked perfectly before, now I have large layers of cold water hitting me everytime I need hot water. Seems to be consistent with how much the system runs.I reported this to Countryside a week after installation last September. Brian came by & advised me that the upper thermostat on the water heater was bad. I've replaced that & the lower thermostat with their corresponding heating elements 3 times without any change in the problem.I called several times before setting an appointment with them that they were no-shows for in the fall, then again in the spring.I've tried hard to get them to fix this aggravating problem lately with several phone calls. They have been bad about answering my calls & never calling back when promising. Finally got an appointment last Tuesday 10 am. Again, no-show, no-call.Eventually got another appointment for this morning at 9. Called yesterday to confirm & got VM with no return call. Got stood-up again! Again, no call & no answer or return of my call. No regard for the fact that I have had to put off work & personal plans to be here all of those times. 11 months & no change or help from Countryside on this problem that they caused on a job that cost me $16,500.I have reported this to the BBB & will also file a complaint with the KY attorney general.I don't relish having to write this review or report them because they're a nice couple, but if they can show up when THEY made the appointments & can't do the dang work, I have no choice.Be careful!Service: Installation

I Contacted Country Side Repair on June 15, 16, and 17th 2023 to ask about my summer maintenance. I left a message stating the reason (annual maintenance) for my call and received no return call. (Had this been addressed maybe all this could have been avoided). I called again on June 18 because my air was not working. Brian came out and looked at the unit (which was installed by his company in 2017). He stated I needed a compressor. I heard nothing else until I called again on June 23 for an update, at which point I was told that the compressor had been ordered and that the last time he ordered one, it was two weeks getting here. Ok, I'll survive. I heard nothing. I called again on June 29, Angie said Brian called about it and they told him they would look into it. NOTHING AGAIN and I requested an update. I called again on July 4th in the evening, stating I knew it was a holiday but I would appreciate an update if you could call me at your convenience tomorrow. Nothing. I called AGAIN on July 5th spoke to Angie and stated I would go to Lexington to pick up the part. She stated she was going in herself. I requested a return call. Nothing. I called again and left a message, begged for a return call for an update. Nothing. At this point I am livid. I have had multiple friends reach out to me and tell me in their 30 plus years in HVAC, other than Covid, this has never been an issue for this many days. Today July 6. I have finally had enough, no return calls, and have called the manufacturer to request help. They have prioritized and expedited my call and stated they would contact the company. Within 10 minutes of hanging up, I received a call from Country side repair, imagine that. Angie stated they looked into it and the part was on the truck. THEN she stated they didn't know the status of the part. I stated to her (in very fluent I AM LIVID language) that I was upset about the lack of communication. Again, she points at the company that the part was ordered from. I stated to her that the COMPANY was not who I left messages with, and I had BEGGED her to call me back and let me know something. She stated Brian had an appointment for tomorrow to do something and I told her if the compressor was in he needs to be HERE tomorrow first thing and install the compressor. She's telling me again, she doesn't know the status. Well, is it on the truck, or not. WHY haven't you pursued the tracking? Again, she placed the blame squarely on the shoulders of the company they ordered parts from. After I raised my voice, became even more proficient in cussing, she stated she would have the company call ME.. No call from the supply company, imagine that.
