Nail Capital and Spa Florence

Recently had my nails done here. I feel as though transparency is important, and my nail artist did provide that. For reference, I initially asked for dip+tips in almond shape with white chrome for color. She told me that dip+tips is $57, an extra $10 for almond shape, and an extra $15 for chrome finish. She instead suggested doing gel-x, which also starts at $57, to avoid that $10 shaping fee. I went with her suggestion for the gel-x, which I’ve never done before so I’m eager to see how well they hold up!

Then for toe nails, I just requesting polish only/no pedicure. When I booked this part online, it showed a $15 charge, however she charged me $35. I did get a French, but according to their pricing that should have only been an extra $5. So I was a little disappointed there.

Also, be aware it is cash tips only here and they also don’t offer all-cash discounts like some other facilities do.

I do think she did a great job and would recommend this place overall. It was clean and the employees were friendly. However, I do think they add crazy charges on things like the shaping fee and the chrome fee so just be aware of that (I’ve gotten chrome finish at other salons and have never been charged for that or to shape the nail to an almond shape… smh).

It was my 1st time here. I got a pedicure. Technician was a little rough throughout the pedicure. Not very relaxing due to this. When I went to pay, I was told cash only, as their credit card machine was not working. I had to go to my car to see what I could find for cash. I told her that she should have said something before we started. Not sure if Ill be returning.
