My daughter was vomiting all day and I brought her in and explained all the other symptoms. Dr. Mudd could have chalked it up to be stomach flu and sent her home with Zofran but because of her expertise and care she had a feeling it could be intussusception based on other things we were describing. She didn’t want to miss that on the slight chance it could be. She urged us to go to children’s for an immediate ultrasound and even called ahead for a referral. We got to children’s and they acknowledged they spoke with Dr.Mudd and saw my daughter right away.
