We contacted Pat after going through two different training programs with our Husky mix Hopper. Hopper didn’t have the greatest introduction to the world and when we got him he was scared of other dogs, children and anyone who wasn’t part of the immediate family, especially men. Hopper scared off every trainer we previously had because he growled and lunged to scare people away. Hopper once escaped our back yard and was pepper sprayed by animal control for the same behavior. We began searching for a dog trainer after our 2 yr old golden had become reactive and had a few bite incidents that to us seemed to come out of nowhere. We had moved, taken in 2 other dogs to watch for friends/family and we're overwhelmed with a total of 4 dogs. We found Pat through googling trainers in our area and his reviews and testimonials pushed me to reach out. He was super thorough and did a phone consult to get a feel for our situation and see if he felt it would be a good fit for training and met my husband and I to meet the dogs at our home as well. I adopted my cockapoo, Jack from a rescue. Jack was deemed a “reject” by the breeder he came from. My blue eyed boy with the happy personality, love of shredding paper and barking to the top of his lungs is deaf. He is not a “reject”. But…he was a little hard to handle at times and had so much energy we knew we needed help teaching him to listen. Our doggie daycare gave us Pat’s name and we set up a first meeting with him. His knowledge and a well guided step by step approach to training has been remarkable in Jack. He taught us how to teach Jack.
