About East Ashland Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens
East Ashland Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens is a peaceful and beautiful cemetery situated on a hill overlooking the Ohio River. The grounds feature well-maintained plots, ponds, and natural surroundings like deer and blackberries, creating a serene resting place. Staff members are described as generous and caring, allowing families to visit freely and personalize their loved ones' graves with flowers, wreaths, and balloons. Despite some past issues with maintenance, such as headstones being knocked over and grass on graves needing attention, the staff, especially a helpful employee named Debbie, has worked hard to address and resolve these concerns. Although there have been delays due to staff shortages, the management has shown dedication to ensuring the cemetery is well cared for. Overall, many visitors hold this cemetery in high regard for its beauty, tranquil setting, and compassionate staff.

My fiancées parents marker was knocked over in December. We have been trying to get it taken care of since February but were unsuccessful. We went to rose hill in person yesterday and spoke to a gentleman who relayed everything to Debbie, and it was fixed yesterday. She was very helpful and apologized for it taking so long, as she didn't know about it until yesterday. I also expressed concern about the grass on my grandparents grave because it was quite high. It was also taken care of when we went to visit today. I believe they have been short on staff but Debbie made sure it was taken care of and I truly believe she is doing her best to make sure things are taken care...read full review
