If I could give 0 stars, I would. I contacted Nichols Flooring several months ago to get a quote and schedule to get my wood floors redone. I got a quote pretty quickly and was pleased, so I booked for a few months later. As the date approached for my floors to be done, I never heard anything from either owner about what the plan was. So I called, text, emailed and continually got no response. 2 weeks out, I finally got ahold of Shane after calling all week. He told me I was still scheduled for my date and they would contact me a few days before. I waited and waited and waited to hear anything. Nothing. I really wanted to give 5 stars to this company! In the very beginning they were very easy to work with, very reasonable in price, and very willing to answer my millions of questions I had for them! They gave us a time frame of 4-5 days and it took then 6. No worries, totally understand. But at the end of the 6th day we still had a vent covered, trim missing, and 2 spots in our new floors that needed repaired due to a mistake on their end. We paid in full at that time as I really believed they would come back and finish their work.

Nichols Hardwood Flooring worked wonders on the original wood floors of a recently purchased older home. Carpet removal had uncovered severe stains and blemishes that they were amazingly able to almost completely eradicate. We love the refinished floors, particularly the beautiful color that Shane and Lane helped us to select! Their cost was also about 20-30% less than another floor refinishing quote we had received.
