Amie is extremely knowledgeable and since starting this in June, I have noticed drastic changes to my body (internally and externally). I love that this pilates studio offers a variety of classes and that the focus is more on the practice and client than the cute clothing one might wear to workout.

I am so happy I found Highway 65 Pilates! I was taking Pilates classes at a local gym where the equipment was in poor condition. I took advantage of a free session with Amie & knew I had found the right place. Learning how to engage the correct muscles and movements together with appropriate breathing techniques has helped me become stronger, as well as improve my posture. Oh, it’s fun as well!!!!

I live on a farm with horses. That means moving 50-60 lb. hay bales around. When I started taking Pilates classes at Highway 54 Pilates with Amie, I could no longer lift those bales. I also couldn't lift my arms above my head. After a few months of taking classes 2-3 times a week, it dawned on me that I was able to move those bales again. I had gradually been getting stronger and hadn't even realized it and I can totally reach my arms above my head.Fast forward nearly 7 years later as a student and with 60 years of age creeping up on me, I'm enrolled in the PSC teacher training program. I'm so excited to be able to help others find the strength and stamina I have found....read full review
