The last few days my hair has been falling out from chemo and I was devastated when I looked in the mirror when I first woke up. I was horrified to go in looking likeI did but Kara was an absolute gem! I was able to be truly comfortable and enjoy my time there. Kara was able to quickly find me the most stunning wig that I fell in love with! The selection both in store and through their catalog is incredible. She gave me styling tips for my hair texture and was completely transparent with what I wanted to do with my cut and how it would work for my hair type. I told her my hair has a history of not taking curls for longer than an hour, to which she said “challenge accepted!” It’s been over 24 since she styled it and the curls are just as gorgeous as when she finished them. At my consultation and first meeting with Teairra Byrd, I knew I was finally going to have the look I had been trying to have with extensions that were not right and wigs that didn't fit no matter how I tried. I told her the look I wanted and she gave me some suggestions and Ms. Byrd said "I got it. Trust me." Well, today was the day and I cannot remember the last time I was this happy with my hair. Ms. Byrd is professional and FUN!!! She listens to her client just as much as she trims and styles and I love that. The quality of her work is matched by the quality of her hair. This is a young woman who not only loves what she does - but she loves her clients and gives individual and personal care. And the biggest cherry on top was that all 4 stylists (mine included) were doing colors, and there was NO NOXIOUS SMELL!!!
