“I have a surgery date scheduled with Dr. Fu in early July. Here’s something I noted about her right away: she is not only a highly specialized ophthalmologist, she’s also very artistic and she has a detailed eye for facial aesthetics!<br><br>Your eyes are an important thing! You must trust your surgeon…my husband is an attorney, and he is conferred with often regarding business practices that people need help rectifying; so he’s taught me to pay close attention to the integrity of a practice or doctor. Their honesty, their clarity, etc.<br><br>Dr. Fu has been transparent and direct as it relates to surgery and billing. I greatly appreciate that.<br><br>Another thing I was impressed by recently: I have concern of not wearing a protective cornea cover (during surgery). Though she acknowledged oculoplastic surgeons are so careful in the area, the cover is unnecessary; she agreed to use one intraoperatively. I can’t explain how appreciative I am of her dedication to patient safety and satisfaction.<br><br>I’m walking into surgery confident that I’m in the best of care.<br><br>I’ll return to this post after my surgery with (before and afters) and give an update as to the results/healing. But I wanted to sing her praises now, because surgery day is just one part of all Dr. Fu does to help her patients. Dr. Fu’s artistic and surgical skill, were apparent meeting one.”
