This "program" is just here to take parents money. The employee's want you to believe that they will fix your "troubled teen" through a Christian program. This is false. It's full of brain washing and inappropriate teaching from unqualified staff. Do not let this place take your money or time away from your child.

Do not send your child to a place like this, nor one named ABBAS HOUSE. I was abused in Traverse city, I wish these places could stop because they do more harm then good, I do not advice parents to send their children off to STRANGERS because they WILL abuse their powder over your child as they did to me, then you have to live with the past problems and on going issues of Christian occult surviving PTSD like me, DO NOT do it, If there even was a real god he WOULD BE thanking you. House of hope is a very restricting place, even if your kid still smiles there, just know they are not truly happy and it could seriously be smiling depression. I'd advice you Goto pine rest instead 100000000x more than this place if you want Christian based.

After I had exhausted all my efforts and resources I decided to send my daughter to House of Hope in February 2021. She stayed there for the duration of 8 months. From the minute I arrived at HOH I felt a sense of peace knowing that I had made the right decision. The entire staff are caring, loving and understanding. I was never treated like I was just another parent bringing my daughter there but instead like family. HOH made such an impact and difference in my daughter's life where other programs had failed miserably. They gave my daughter the direction and tools to make better choices going forward in her life and they were in constant communication with me with her progress. Before starting the program at HOH my daughter had an F in every single class, no motivation and our relationship was non-existent. Fast forward to a year later and she has all A's in school, she is planning to go to college next year for nursing and we have a great mother daughter relationship. My daughter said it was the toughest thing she has ever gone through but she thanks me every day for loving her enough to choose HOH for her recovery.
