Update: I had an issue with one of my contacts. Dr. Buchbaum was out of town, and I was seen by Dr. Baker instead. She was fantastic, and narrowed down that I had a defective box of contacts. She helped me navigate the process to get that replaced, and I am back in business same day. Thank you!!

I can't say enough good things about the staff at this office. My family worked with Emily, Angie, and Dr. Buchbaum. From the moment we walked in the front door, we were taken care of well. Our son is visually impaired, and walks with a white cane. Dr. Buchbaum made sure to engage with him on his level, making sure to explain everything she was doing, and even discussing Star Wars at LENGTH with him. We were never rushed around. Dr. took her time with all 4 of us. I feel like we finally found an office that has both a fantastic front office staff, and a tremendous doctor to go along with.

Katelyn was very professional, knowledgeable, and a delight to work with. She was a great help in selecting frames that fit my face, complimented my hair, and were comfortable. She was also very patient as I kept finding different frames to try. If you’re looking for frames, definitely come here!

Everyone at this location is absolutely fantastic and the quality of care and customer service is so good that I drive from KCK to see Dr. Buchbaum. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and their scheduling is so efficient that the wait time is a minute or two at most before being seen. Emily is an absolute PRO with the pre-exam screening, especially the dreaded puff of air in each eye. The best screening I’ve ever had! When my appointment was finished, Katie took time to go over all of my options that insurance provides, got my contacts ordered, printed rebate info for me, AND got my next appointment on the calendar. 15/10

A place who be treated as a King

I've generally had positive experiences at Eye Associates with the staff. My eye doctor is absolutely amazing every time, she's extremely kind and patient. There is however a newer male staff in the office (or at least unfamiliar to me) that is professional but impolite. I felt very rushed in the process and the experience with him was extremely impersonal. He was not as upbeat and friendly as the ladies in the office and he barely greeted me upon my arrival, just told me sit down and someone would be with me. He took me back and before I put my chin on the machine, I noticed there was something on it and I asked for a paper towel to clear it off. He responded "I just wiped it" , which I'm not negating, just that there was something left on it so I wanted to remove it. I just hope that he improves his 'bedside manner' as it is important in all healthcare industries. The first impression can really make or break the overall experience. I really would've let it go and chalked it up to the day, but I called up to the office and asked if I could be emailed my glasses prescription to which he responded they couldn't, but they could provide it for me in person or vial mail. I asked in a general sense, how long it would take to mail or arrive and he said "I don't know, it'd depend on the mail" I felt the response could've been better and he could really improve his attitude.

staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr Buchbaum is the best! she has always been able to correct my vision and cam get in quickly when there is a problem. she is very sweet and caring

Pleasant staff, careful exams. Tech staff keeps my glasses in top shape with quick adjustments or replace pads.
