I met him when I was pregnant, touring the hospital in 2014 and immediately knew I wanted my son to see him. My son spent 17 days in the NICU, and before they sent him, Dr Yu did the test himself to make sure it was necessary, even though many had already performed them. Dr.Yu is absolutely incredible. I am so blessed that he is our pediatrician for our daughter. He was recommended to us by the neonatal specialist at the NICU in Overland Park. He stays up to date on all research and studies going on. So you know the advice and counsel you are being given is with the most up-to-date medical practices. It will genuinely be sad when we have to move.
Dr Yu has cared for all three of my children since they were born. My oldest is 17 years old now. Dr Yu always takes the time to listen to us and is genuinely interested in us and our concerns. He is very knowledgeable and always has a lot of information for any questions we have. We never feel rushed, and really like Dr Yu not only as a person, but as a person, too.
