From March 28th we waited and waited for my husband's glasses to come in. They arrived and!!! they were incorrect. Same with the 2nd sent of lenses, and the 3rd. It is May 21st and we still don't have glasses. I even got a pair for myself and they were so weak I actually exclaimed, "Holy sh*t these are garbage!! I do not doubt the Dr's expertise in his field, I do believe however the lab they use is practicing Bait and Switch on this business's customers. After 4 visits we asked for a refund. Time will tell if we get that. Edit, received a refund of nothing close to what our insurance took a hit for. 2 pair of glasses and not one was usable. I also received a letter basically firing me as a patient. Guess what? You screw something up 4 times, you won't get a happy customer singing your praises.
I had ordered and paid for my glasses. They said they would let me know when they came in. I waited a month and finally called and was told they had been in for 11 days! Not a single notification from them, phone, text or otherwise. I like my eye doctor, but they need to work on their customer service.
I went in with two different forms of insurance. They proceeded to perform what I was led to believed where necessary tests and scans, namely a refraction scan. What I didn't know was that my insurance wouldn't cover said scan. After all was said and done, they refused to release my prescription unless I paid them an extra $72. I was never told that the test would cost extra. Can you imagine a physician telling you that you have a severe infection but won't write you a prescription unless you pay them an extra $70? These optometrist are nothing but thieves and liars. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't return even if I went totally blind. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, shitty billing practices.
