Frank and the team at The Courtland provide an extraordinary experience. I love historic hotels and The Courtland now ranks as a favorite.
The welcome was warm and sincere (even though we were running a bit late on our arrival time).
Frank was helpful with suggestions about restaurants and the city center. And everything at The Courtland was incredible. Attention to detail, the quality of items from towels to teapots…..all was well-thought-out.
And the spa time? My wife was treated like royalty (Thanks!).
Thank you, folks, for making our time in Fort Scott memorable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We loved the atmosphere and interesting architecture. Rooms are clean with everything you need. There is a variety of things for breakfast and plenty of coffee and tea. Thank you for our lovely stay.
What a wonderful historic hotel in Fort Scott! We were driving through and needed a place to stay. Super clean and the owner was so nice and told us about it's history!! Will definitely stay here again!!
