If you want to EXPERIENCE the history of historic Fort Scott instead of just spend a few hours in a motel room, this is the place to do it. Clean and comfortable rooms, good price, location in the heart of the old town (just a couple blocks from the fort), and very helpful hosts all in genuine early 1900s ambience.
Merl took time on a Holiday Saturday ( the only time we could ALL be together) to spend time with us for family pictures!!He was so patient and if he felt the lighting was wrong or someone blinked at the wrong time. he took more pictures!! Had each of us look over the picture to be sure he captured what we wanted!! Thank you, Merl!!!

I couldn’t figure out why my car wouldn’t start. I called my insurance’s roadside assistance, and they contacted A1. They were quick getting to my home. The gentleman who came was able to figure out what was wrong with my car and had it running in less than a couple minutes!! Courteous, caring, competent company and kind. So grateful for A1. I will personally ask for them through my roadside assistance again or recommend them highly to others if ever needed!!!
My wife and I took our 5 year old daughter in to get her hair cut. Definitely was by far the best experience we have had getting our daughter hair cut. Not only was the lady amazing at what she does but the prices are incredibly affordable. We will definitely be coming back.

I've always gotten the best medical care at this facility. I always leave feeling cared for and my issue solved or given an appointment with a specialist if needed. This salon is amazing. All of the girls are really nice. I got a horrible cut from somewhere else, and the lady who cut my hair made it so much better. She also gave me really good tips on how to style it.
My new mini split was a diy project that went wrong. I called and left a message and at 1pm she called me back saying he could come out now. One of our copper lines had busted! He had to fix that and get the moisture out of our system. He was very honest on the hours he spent. He was friendly and did not judge us for breaking it! I will definitely use them in the future!
