I want to praise Michelle at Derby Smith Mortuary for her compassion, professionalism and organization of a service for my mom on short notice and on a holiday. My mother passed early Monday morning and Michelle helped us to have a service on Friday morning. Smith’s was scheduled to be closed the Friday for the 4th but she worked that day to allow us to have a visitation while I was in town. I am from out of state. I know Smith’s may not be able to pull off small miracles like this all the time but we will forever remember the kindness of Michelle and Smith’s Mortuary. Thank you.

I cannot imagine how I would have gotten thru my mother's funeral arrangements without them. They took care of alk the little details that I didnt even think of. Very professional as well as very caring.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. My family and I were dealing with an impossible situation, yet Jason and the front office staff did everything they could, going above and beyond, to ease our anxieties where they could. Without such an experience, we would NOT have been able to get through our tough time as well as we did. They treated us not just as friends, but as family. We are incredibly grateful!
