My mom passed away about six months ago, and I've been managing her home, getting it ready for sale. The air conditioner wasn't working, so I contacted the HVAC company I used before for a new thermostat and maintenance, which I had done a couple of years back.
I opened the account with this specific company, located in Arkansas City on Summit Ave, and was happy to use them again. When I called to schedule a maintenance appointment and mentioned that my mom had passed away, they told me they would need to open a new account under my name, which would cost $80 just to create the new account. That really surprised me because I was the one who initially opened the account and paid the bill.
I decided to go with ArK City Service instead. They're a local HVAC specialist. When I called to set up an appointment, they were friendly. The technicians arrived on time, were friendly, identified the issue, and didn't try toupsell unnecessary services. I really appreciated their straightforward approach.

I've been a couple different times for a haircut by 2 different stylists. They both did a good job with the cut, just a simple trim with layers and face framing. I'd go again for another haircut. I like the look of the salon, but I wasn't crazy about seeing the employees walking around in hoodies and messy buns. Their attitudes were about as bland as their appearance. I've worked in salons myself, and we were always expected to show up more polished than that. Nobody was very welcoming or professional. A lot of straight faces and acting like they were bored to be there. But again, if all you're wanting is to get your hair done and you don't care about the rest, then its just fine. ?

They take amazing care of their patients and everyone who works there seems to love what they do. I have two uncles in there. One who just turned 100 years old and he loves everything and everyone who takes care of him. The other needs more medical care and they have stayed on top of everything. Their facilities are top notch as well. I would 100% recommend this place for any elderly in need of care.

If you want to support a local barber then Adrian is the man! Booking process was easy, he had a very good vibe and energy about him. He takes great pride in his work! Will definitely come back for a future cut! He also prefers cash payments but that is reasonable!
