“UPDATED BELOWInitial ReviewThis was my 1st time going to this black owned shop. I like the atmosphere, very small & quaint, only two ppl working- the owner and a young lady. I got my nails done by the young lady who seem sweet however my nail are very boxy from where my cuticle starts all the way up and I got square shape nails but she made them so sharp that I have to be careful not to cut myself or others. I didn’t have time to say anything or even really notice since my time was precisely planned out 08/03/23Update #1:I reached out to the owner and spoke with her today 08/04/2023 @ 2pm. We came to an agreement that the young lady Lyric would be able to fix my nails in a couple of days.UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!!!!!Went back to today to get to get my nails fixed. Spoke with the owner- we conversed about being unsatisfied & what it’s like on the business end and I the customer end, which was very interesting & informative for me as I hope it was for her.Now…. What we’ve all been waiting for,Do I like my nails? Absofu**inglutely ? I love them!!Lyric did her thang! She listened (even when I had no clue on how to explain what I was trying to get done) and softened out the tips of my square-shaped nails so they wouldn’t be so sharp and rounded the bottom where the nail bed is so it wouldn’t be so boxy.I’m a happy customer and my nails are beautiful ?If you’re looking for a place that is honest, professional, dedicated to their customers This is where you want to be. For the newbies they won’t make you feel uncomfortable and/or unwanted if you’re not satisfied with something, they’re very much willing to work with.And I’m sure that’s why they stay booked because all the regulars know this & love ? themI’m elated that I reached out to this business although I wasn’t initially satisfied.The owner is an honorable & classy woman& the Tech Lyric is a sweet & very talented young ladyI’m will be making an appointment for a fill-in, hope to see you all soon08/07/2023“

Well, today I was able to meet two women by the business name, "The Baker and The Bath Bomb Maker." They were delightful to have hosted me and my specialized affordable way of spending money on hygiene products, and drinks for myself. The Baker and The Bath Bomb Maker are satisfyingly delightful to have featured Pumpkin Pie bath bomb, Crisp Fall Apple Donuts Bomb, Caramel Apple Craze "Apple Cider Bomb," and Campfire S'mores "Hot Chocolate Bomb." I will try the hygiene bomb and flavored drink together on a Winter's day. You must believe when I say these women are business minded, and focus too. I cannot wait until my appointment for my manicure and pedicure. Kudos to the A Polished Work, Inc. for featuring such as great business this morning.“

“I have officially found my new nail shop. Annie and Tony are so kind and friendly. I got my nails (powder overlay) toes (no chip pedi) and eyesbrows waxed! Annie did all my services today and it was such a pleasure to be serviced by her. I feel the quality of work I received was well worth the resonable prices! The salon is clean, hygenic with a pleasurable atsmosphere. I love that she really took her time with my massage during pedi. Tony offered us guests water and I felt welcomed by them. I came here for the first time today bc I dont have a 'home' nail salon and gave them a shot on a whim but after today, I think I've found one! Thanks a million you guys :)“
