Got a hair cut and highlight. The layers were uneven and it was much longer on one side than the other. The color turned out great. When I asked the stylist to fix the cut she told me “no one would notice”. When I spoke to management she was dismissive and said I would have to pay for another hair cut in order to get it fixed. Very disappointing experience.

After receiving the worst gel manicure I’ve ever gotten (done by a hair stylist at a bar top?) the gel was uneven, all over my cuticles, didn’t cover my thumbs, etc etc - the management refused to accept my gift card and threatened to file a police report if I didn’t pay. There are 100000 nail salons in the Indy area - any one of them would be better to spend your money with. Unbelievable experience and highly recommend you spend your money somewhere else
Specialties: They don’t. They deceptively advertise professional nails when they don’t provide that at all.

I never take the time to write reviews but this is the worst experience I’ve ever had getting a pedicure. They don’t line the pedicure basin with a liner, and you could see the dirty ring around the inside from the last client. The hot towels smelled like a washcloth that’s been sitting out for days. Some of the employees are highly unprofessional as far as appearance and demeanor. Lastly they recently changed ownership and renamed the salon. They wouldn’t honor the previous Beauty Bar gift cards that had been purchased there.

I wish that I had nicer things to say about my two experiences at this salon, but both were rushed with pedicures that left me longing for something better. After a frustrating phone call with the manager who told me she'd discount a future service for me (when I'd asked for a refund), I told her that I wouldn't be coming back. Like I said on the phone, $70 might not seem like a lot to HER but it's more than I want to pay for a paint job that was messed up before I left the salon. No thank you, and good luck with your brand change!

Change in a ownership and can’t manage a business…Made a reservation, and as I’m paying ahead of time for my teen I ask why it is $15 and they say actually they ran into a scheduling problem and they changed our reservation from a manicure to a color change. No offer to make the situation right. I asked them specifically if they were ok with this being the service they were providing. And they said yes! This is what the manager said to do. And the girl at the front desk encourages me to leave the bad review I say I will need to leave. Saying we’ve changed owners, you just go right ahead and leave a bad review. So take this as a warning. This is the type of service you will get at “Nails, Hair, and Cocktails” formerly known as beauty bar.
