“Dreams really DO come true!!! Years of planning, years of saving, years of dreaming… & it was so worth it! We had the pleasure of working with Carmel Kitchens for our home renovations. We’ve been speaking with Abby for two and a half years!!! January of 2025, we took the jump! April of the same year we started DECONSTRUCTING & lived through/worked through 4 months of a total home makeover. We created a new entry, new dining, new kitchen… all new floors throughout (oak wood- sand & stain), raised the living room ceiling, smoothed ceilings throughout the house and all new paint. We had outlets/electrical put in all storage cabinets and two pantry’s for our growing boys. We had DOGGY nooks and details come to fruition, as well as the most special storage banquet dining room created… with STORAGE! It’s all a “pinch me” moment… we knew this was our forever home/home of our business … so we are proud to have it all look & work how WE wanted it; functional for us, our boys, our business, and our dogs. Despite multiple delays on our end that were out of our control, Lee worked around our schedule to make sure the project was done as quickly as possible. “We had previously worked with the Trents on a carpet cleaning job before our basement flooded. When we discovered the flooding, we reached out to them right away, and they arrived early the next day to start mitigating the water damage. Once the damaged material was removed, they helped us work with our insurance company to get our claim submitted and provided great ideas for restoring our basement. They had a clear vision of how to best utilize the space and make improvements. Their team did excellent work and was very professional. We love our basement and are grateful to have it back.

The only hiccups we experienced were that we would have appreciated weekly updates on when their team was scheduled to arrive and what work was planned, and it would have been helpful to see drawn-up plans after our brainstorming sessions.

“We used Custom Floors and Stone for our new kitchen countertops. Materials: They have a fantastic selection of many types of stone (Granite/Quartz/Quartzite/Marble), and you can get up close and personal with the slabs in their warehouse (and visit as much as you like without being bothered). Process: Rodney was our point person and he was very knowledgeable, patient, honest, and personable throughout the process. He was fantastic to work with. He helped us pick the stone that matched our needs and provided the quote after taking measurements at your home. Install: Custom Floors was used for some of the install, and we were less impressed with them (the scheduling and clean up had some bumps, the actual work was adequate). Custom Stone was in charge of most of the install, and they were great work with, including Callie the scheduler.
We priced out some other places and Custom Stone's prices are definitely competitive and their selection was unmatched.
At the end of the day- kitchen countertops are a huge investment. It matters a lot who you decide to work with, and I recommend this group!“
