“I had major back surgery fusing five of my vertebrae from t11 through l45 where I already had a fusion from 2012. The employees of Ascension have been unbelievably beneficial to me. Quinn the RN and Amy the RN were instrumental in healing up and incision that had issues healing with dressing changes and preventing infection. Reggie and Stacy , the physical therapist have helped me developed muscles that have atrophied preventing me from being able to ambulate around even with a walker or cane. Their suggestions and exercises they gave me to do have built up my muscles and I am moving around so much better. Mike and Ladonna, the occupational therapist have helped me make adjustments in my home so that I could be able to accomplish things that I need to without having assistance from another person. I laid here for quite some time after surgery and before wallowing in self-pity and depression about everything I lost as far as Independence and that did me no good. I started thinking that it was better to make the best of my situation instead of falling prey to it. The Ascension team that has come out to help me has been astronomically helpful and helping me achieve that mindset. I thank them and appreciate them so very very much. They are awesome all of them“
