Check the BBB reviews for Sears Home Services before using this business (7,430 complaints filed in the last 3 years). It's a scam. 227 W Jefferson is a County Building with no Sears office in that building. Technicians are independent contractors using prepaid phones, everything else is handled overseas. Technician charged me $250 for washer repair. I wanted to pay by CC but he said I couldn't. It had to be check. He waited for me as I went to the bank and got a cashier's check since I don't have personal checks. I received a receipt an hour later to my email. The technician determined what was wrong with my LG refrigerator and ordered the part and scheduled an appointment for the install. I was charged for the part and labor/installation when the part was ordered. The part arrived and I installed it myself as the install appointment was a week away. I have contacted Sears HW to let them know my part arrived and I installed it, to produce a working appliance again. I have been trying to have the labor and install charges refunded since the technician didn’t actually perform the repair. And now I can’t get anyone on the phone. Going on 3 weeks since I requested my refund
