On recommendation of a friend I went to Focus Eyecare. I was greeted by a cheerful lady who really seemed to be glad I was there. After checking in. I was told that my insurance covered my visit for today at $0.00 cost. She asked me If I wanted a particular test that my insurance didn't cover that had a $39.00 dollar charge. No sales pitch. No pressure. She just didn't want me to have a surprise charge. First I didn't even know I had I eye coverage on my plan but because of their thoroughness evidently I do. I opted to have the test. I it was well worth it. I didn't have to have my eyes dilated or wear the dark glasses that typically come with dilation. No wait time....read full review

I had a fantastic first experience at Focus Eyecare Center! The tech was friendly and ensured I was comfortable during all measurements/tests. Dr. Gogel was very thorough and explained reasoning behind a contact lens prescription change to help with my headaches—I have never had anyone explain how my eyes need to work smarter, not harder ?. I also got my glasses adjusted quickly and perfectly.

All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful as soon as I walked through the door. Dr. Gogel was very thorough with my exam. Also, the woman who helped me look at glasses gave me the best experience I have ever had with picking out glasses and really cared about helping me choose the right pair. This was my first time at this office after switching from someone I had been to for over 8 years. I am very happy that I made the switch.
