KeyMe Locksmiths is a trusted locksmith service offering a range of services. They specialize in lockouts, home and car key replacement, and installing various security systems, including smart locks. Customers can make keys at their kiosk located inside the Menards in Schererville, or have special keys mailed to them. While some customers noted slight variations in the fit of copied keys, all confirmed they functioned properly. KeyMe Locksmiths provides upfront flat rate pricing for their services.
Easy to use kiosk. Key didn't work in lock, But they suggested brushing the key if you had trouble opening the lock. They advertised that they could duplicate key fobs for up to 70% less than a dealer. BUT when I started the process. They wanted $249 when the dealer was $99. But I'll use the kiosk again to make keys.
I like the convenience of getting the keys made when I need them but, I've been waiting 7days already for keys I was told would arrive in 3 days. Maybe they should be sent via express mail instead of regular mail.
The keys were made quickly and efficiently using the kiosk. They worked perfectly. The only problem was the pricing…they offered buy 2 get 1 free. Then after making the payment, the offer to upgrade to a design key at $1.49 was unclear. I thought it was going to replace one of the two keys I’d already paid for and charge $1.49, but in fact it charged me $5.72 for a 4th key that I didn’t need, and it was no going back because it had already charged my credit card. To clear directions on how to change or ask for refund. But the keys work great.
