Owens Optometry Inc. is a kind and caring business that has been serving patients for over 10 years. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in detail to ensure patients receive good care. The eye doctors, including Jesse and Melissa Owens, are very good at taking care of their patients' needs.
10/10 would recommend. Most optometrists just see you for your exam and all of your pre-testing and insurance information is handled by the front desk. Dr.Melissa took the time to enter all of my health information, obtain my testing that could've easily been done by a tech and ensured my insurance was in the computer correctly. You don't get small town 1 on 1 service like that very often. I'm glad to be a patient of Owens Optometry!
Owen's Optometry was recommended to me when my regular optometrist couldn't continue his practice because of illness. I was given a thorough exam an a care plan was put in place.
My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Melissa Owens for over 3 years. During that time we have seen Dr. Owens on a number of occasions. She has consistently been caring, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. She always explains things in our terms and takes the time to make it real. Her staff is also among the very best, the women in her office care and create a welcoming vibe. We moved away from the area and still travel back 152 miles round trip to see Dr. Owens. Distance has not been an issue and its well worth the effort.
