I’ve been going here for close to 3 years and seeing Dr. Shao. I appreciate how nice and kind and a good listener she is. I had a lot of dental anxiety, but since I started seeing her, it has gotten a little better which is great to me. I never had my dental anxiety get better like that seeing other dentists. I’ve had fillings, an implant, and cleanings here. The other staff members are always nice and helpful. I met the owner when I was getting my implant surgery and he seemed very nice also.

I had an exceptional experience at Secure Dental – Portage with Dr. Shao and her amazing team. I came in with a filling that had come out, and from the moment I walked in, the care was absolutely top tier.
Dr. Shao’s bedside manner is outstanding—she’s warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. She evaluated the issue immediately and provided the best plan of action on the spot. Her response was fast, intuitive, and clearly based on expertise and genuine care for her patients.

The dental assistant was super nice and Dr. Shao was wonderful and she put my mind at ease. I'm still nervous to have my teeth extracted but I think Dr. Shao is going to be wonderful at knowing how far I can go in one sitting.
