Planet Fitness is always clean, well-maintained, and very welcoming. The evening staff creates such a positive and comfortable environment. Von was especially kind, helpful, and professional, and her great attitude really stood out. Overall a great gym experience!!

I had a great experience recently at this gym coming from Chicago!! Bathrooms/Machines were clean, place was really chill and not loud and distracting , the worker’s were really nice and wholesome but von really did stand out for me.She was super helpful, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly if i had any questions Von’s positive energy and professionalism made the workout environment feel welcoming and motivating. I definitely appreciated her support she’s a great asset to the gym!😉

I came last week on Sunday morning and a young lady at the desk named Avonni had the biggest smile. She’s very personable and brightened my day!

My experience at Planet Fitness in Portage was excellent! Von assisted me with setting up my membership and was truly fantastic—friendly, patient, and very clear in her explanations. She made the entire process smooth and inviting, which genuinely encouraged me to return. Staff like her truly make a big difference!

Wasn't sure what to expect at a smaller location but the place was well equipped with the modern workout stuff like medicine balls kettlebell and clean free weight area. Massage chairs in blk club were modern as well. looking forward to another visit!

The staff is very friendly and kind! They chat with me when waiting for a spa room. Clean gym. I really like going to this location!

(10-22-25). They took out the yearly dues from my bank account on (10-06-25) and they were not due for a few more months. So I will end up getting charged again in a few months. I spoke to Tyler, the manager on 10-06-25 and he said he was going to have the overpayment refunded. Still not refunded as of 10-22-25. This was a 1-star review because of this. It seemed like this situation was going to drag out. But Tyler stepped up and called me today (10-23-25) and assured me that this is now fixed and taken care of. I am going to take his word on this, because I believe him. Tyler does and did have a very good demeanor and attitude through this. Very nice about it, but it was just frustrating to think that I may not have gotten my refund. I now have updated this review to 5-stars.
