I hope their linemen are paid well. I called to report a tree down right up the road from me that knocked power out at 230 a.m. Within 10 minutes, here comes a scout locating the downed line. Within 30 minutes, chainsaws are going, and a bucket truck is putting the lines back together. In just over an hour, power is back on. I'm in a rural area, so that's very impressive to me. To any of the boys working the midnight shift on 8/7/23, you guys rock!

“WHOLESALE POWER COST ADJUSTMENT”!!!They are now adding $43.50 to each bill since June of this year! I will be changing out all appliances to LP as soon as possible. Why our we being charged an extra fee that equals about 25% of our bill??!!?? If this is to keep supplying reliable power then I shouldn’t need a backup generator but I do.

I've had electric service from REMC at my current address for 22 years, 35 years total. Customer service has always been great. I've experienced an outage 4 times in the last 22 years (at our current address). Each outage was 4 hours or less. I'm thinking of selling my 5000W generator. At my previous address at Lake Latonka there was a faulty primary line under SR 17 feeding the South side that took a long time (many outages) to locate.
