First I’m sorry for any patients that had to wait on the day my husband went in for a pressure recheck. His 8:45 am appointment should have be a quick in and out, letting us know the meds were working. However it was not a quick appointment. It seems my husband’s pressure increased to a level that he could lose his vision. The nurses and doctor worked diligently on my husband to get his pressure down and keep him as comfortable as possible and still see all of the patients that were on the schedule. Have been a patient for a couple years now. Called to make an appt in February and could not get in until March 31st. Which is ok, apparently my Provider had retired and needed to schedule with a different Provider so maybe that is why. So I leave work early for my appt on Thursday March 31st and the office is closed with a sign on the door from 3/7/22 stating they have new hours and are now closed on Thursday and Friday. My issue is I got no notification, no call to reschedule. With technology what it is today cannot believe I could not get a text or even an email if not a phone call. My contact info has not changed in years. So I took off work early and will now be even further out, guess it's time to look for a new Eye clinic

I have always had to wait a while whenever I have been to see the fine doctors at IEC Plainfield. I have seen Dr. Keeling and Dr. Barina for two very painful eye problems during the past ten years. Both times I have gone elsewhere first and been misdiagnosed. During the most recent episode, they worked me into their already full schedule and then took the time to get to the root of my problem. I am sure that they are giving the same time and attention to others with their problems. For that kind of care, I am willing to wait patiently and let them do their job with everyone.
