As a consumer and someone who loves their 4Runner, Griot's garage is an absolute pleasure to work with. From the time I place the order to the actual delivery, they always keep me in the loop. Once the products arrive, they're always well packed and the one time I had a product that did not perform as expected, they refunded my money without any problems. I'm excited to visit the Plainfield, Indiana location if only to pick up pre-ordered product and to get a glimpse - and a selfie - of where the Griot's products are made!
Uh.... Okay. This is the Griot's Garage distribution center but these bad reviews are of their customer service and products. I've been a fanboy of their stuff since I started using their Leather 3-in-1 Care a couple of years ago. Since then, I've gotten rid of all my Meguiar's and Chemical Guys, not because those companies don't make quality products, I've just found that Griot's is above and beyond. They're popular, so much so that things often get backordered and you might have to wait a little to get your stuff but if you're in Indiana, you'll receive it soon after they do. You can even do local pickup if you're close to Plainfield but you need to schedule an appointment. I've had to reach out to customer service three times with questions or issues. I've found that the associates I've worked with were very knowledgeable and responded quickly to any issues that I had. They have their stuff together and have videos on YouTube about almost all of their products and even tutorials about how to use them. They're active on social media and they'll do an educational live stream every few months for newbies. Their products are more expensive but I can attest to their quality and dedication to resolve customer issues.
