“We redid the floors throughout our home. It was a mixture of hardwood and carpet. This was probably the best experience I’ve ever had with a home improvement project. Jeff did a great job helping pick out items and helped us know what splurges were worth the money and which weren’t.
I researched the heck out of flooring and knew some of the other quotes I received included shortcuts on the labor. Kemper’s bid didn’t even propose those installation shortcuts. I really feel confident our new wood floors were properly installed and everything was done well.
There was one hiccup towards the start of the project. Kemper discovered a flaw in some of the wood planks. They took it upon themselves to insist the manufacturer resend an entire new lot of wood. This led to a short delay, but Kemper kept us updated and I was very glad they were diligently inspecting the quality of everything.
Really, these folks were great. Using locally owned companies is the way to go. I worked directly with the owner and the customer service was top notch. I gladly recommend hiring them.”
