“Brooklynn was amazing. My son is beyond picky about his hair (middle school, enough said) and has never found someone who gives him a cut he’s satisfied with. He came armed with a video and photos of the “low-taper fade.” It was a little involved because he just grew his hair out and it needed some sculpting. She took her time and absolutely nailed it. It’s the first time I’ve seen him happy after getting it cut. He was worried about unibrow and she took care of that too, explaining his options to him. “My regular barber is out of town on vacation. I needed a haircut bad so I stopped in here for a simple buzz cut. A gentleman by the name of Danny cut my hair and did some trimming around my beard to straighten out the mess I made of it.. I was extremely impressed with how much attention to detail he paid. Each barber at Hooiser cuts takes their time and some cuts are 30-45 minutes with line you up with a straight edge and going over the cut a couple times to perfect it. They always take pride in every cut I have had their. Plan ahead, schedule your cut, communicate ahead with the barber, you’ll get right in and out without the wait. They’ll hook you up with proper cut. This isn’t a great clips that you can just walk in and expect a 10 min buzz and done. You’re getting a professional haircut and lineup from the best barbers in the South Bend/Mishawaka/Notre Dame area.“
