I have used the services here twice and was very pleased both times . First time was years ago my Jack Russell Terrier tried to drag my African Gray parrot through the cage and succeeded in chewing her foot almost off . I was seen by Dr.Hess and as she's finishing up the amputation , she reminded me that the dog was doing what she was bred to do . Both the bird and the dog lived many more years ! Care Animal Hospital was able to get me in within 3 days for a sick appointment. It wasn't an emergency and ended up being an ear infection so that wait time wasn't too bad. Everyone I interacted with was professional and kind. We saw Dr. Maci Burns and she has terrific bedside manner. That being said, this place is more EXPENSIVE than other vets I've been to in the area. It was $150 dollars to see the vet, get my cat's ears cleaned, and get the ear drop medicine for the infection. In a pinch I would go here again, but for the price I would first look elsewhere.

Big shout out to Care Animal Hospital in Muncie. Our first experience with this hospital was amazing. We recently moved into this area and our 16 year dog had to be put down on a Sunday. This hospital was the only one open. So I called to ask if they can help. And they were the most sympathic, loving vertarinian hospital we ever dealt with. They were very accommoding with what time we would bring her in. And after all was said and done, not only did we receive a card in the mail with her precious paw print, but we also received a red rose from them.
