NOTE: I had recently relocated to Muncie, and needed emergency vet care. My dog with cancer went downhill quickly. She finally expressed pain; it was time to say goodbye. Not a single vet office was willing to work her in on compassionate grounds to give a 2min injection (I tried >20 vets)! Most offices were full for days, and unwilling to help us, knowing our dog was in agony.
Dr. Reese at RIVERVIEW was THE ONLY ONE who said “Yes, I want to prioritize this dog & family in her time of need.”
Keep this in mind when choosing a vet! Ask if they work in emergency care. I appreciate that Riverview is small & focuses on giving the care a local family can afford.
