I came down from Chicago to Brook to take a look at this Ford Ranger I was really interested in. I called McCool's a week ahead of time to see if they could do a quick check on the truck. I came a few days later than I wanted but Jason was still able to give the truck a quick look around. Turns out the truck needed a lot more work than the dealership led me to believe which was a waste of a 1:45hr trip. He explained to me what it was wrong and why it was a problem. He gave me a rough estimate as far as what it would cost to repair it for road safety. He saved me a lot of time and money and I had much better leverage when heading back to the dealership. McCool's is the best! I was traveling cross country when my check engine light came on. I was unfamiliar with the area but I found his number and gave him a call. He stopped what he was doing and fixed my car very quickly so I could get back on the road.

My alternator broke, and I was stuck at a gas station an hour and a half from my house. Mcool’s was kind enough to come and jump my car so I could make it to the shop. He quickly ordered a new alternator, and was incredibly kind and accommodating. They do excellent work, and really helped me when I was in a tough spot.
