I'm new to the area, and just don't know most of the time who the "go-to" businesses are in Monticello. I needed some new augers and poles for my dock and it was kind of an emergency. I went to a few stores and no luck. I did have a fine worker from Rural King recommend I just head over to "see Rudy". Lo and behold Rudy took care of me on the spot. Life as a Hoosier just keeps getting better. While I was there, a father and son came in with a broken muffler from an ATV. Needed a piece of diamond plate cut and bent for a garage door threshold. Younger guy I talked to on the phone said stop in and we'll get you fixed up. Had me in and out in 10 min at an extremely fair price. Got another project I've been putting off and I'll be taking it to Owens soon. Helluva service they gave me. Wish I had a shop like this closer to my house. Mark Morris and Mark Moore of Monticello sent me to Owens shop.

We have been using Owens' machine shop for years! I haven't found anything they can't fix,make or put together... When one of my mechanics tells me they can't weld or fix something I take it to Rudy and prove them wrong.
