It feels like an abandoned old school that the ymca just kinda (does) squats in. But the staff is nice and most people are friendly. Has a good pickleball crowd in the mornings. A bit rundown but better than no ymca. It would be awesome to get some new amenities or at the very least another butterfly press machine as that is always taken in the weight room

My 4yo and I are very active and travel a lot so we maintain a national Y membership that has been well utilized in many states. We visited the MC area from nyc off season and found the weather to be quite temperamental leaving us stir crazy in the rental we were in. We went to the local YMCA to find anything to do rather than watch Netflix all day and were greeted with absolute warmth and accommodation. Kim (director) is an absolute delight. Just sunshine on a cloudy day! Within the first 10 minutes we walked about the facility and were offered several activities for my daughter to interact with peers. I work out in the gym at the YMCA, and it’s is a great place to train. Pretty much all the same gear as Planet Fitness. The staff is so great - helpful, friendly, and encouraging. Thank you, YMCA
