I purchased a Groupon for 2 mani/pedis. When I first called, I was scheduled for 3 weeks out. When we showed up, there was no one there. The owner apologized and booked us for our preferred time the next week. I got smart and called instead of driving all the way down again. I was told we were not on the schedule until the 30th, that she never scheduled and did not remember talking to us. This is supposed to be to help keep me from picking my nails and hurting myself. I paid $78 for services a month ago that still have not been rendered. When I asked her why today, she hung up on me. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I LOVE JACKIE!!!!! She is the best stylist I have EVER had! She can cut her a$$ off and she promotes healthy hair (long or short). I highly recommend her. I never feel looked over and she is time-sensitive and gets me in and out in a very reasonable timeframe. My daughter and I both have our appointments together and with her styling both of us, we have never been in there for 3 hours or more like some places. I am quick to leave if I wait too long because getting my hair done is not my profession and I do not expect to spend my time there as such. The work of the other stylists I have seen has also looked great! All of the ladies in the salon seem genuinely kind and pleasant.

I finally got in touch with Jackie! Whoa is this chic popular! My hair looked AMAZING!!!! Beautiful bountiful curls, a magazine perfect part, the curls framed my face. When you can't believe you eyes in the mirror, thats when you know that your hairstylist is fantastic. My only complaint, which is very stereotypical of black salons is the wait. However,I believe Jackie actually squeezed me in, so I can't really comment too much on the length of stay there. When I return, we will see how long the in & out process takes. I like that there are Aveda products here. Jackie does natural hair blow outs. The other clients are friendly. I'm so happy that I have FINALLY found a hair stylist in Northwest Indiana. While I LOVE the Time Hair Gallery in Chicago, it just hasn't been feasible in going there.
