“I just had my first haircut here and had a great experience at That Guys Barber Shop in Madison, Indiana, and I can honestly say this is the kind of barber shop that makes getting a haircut feel a lot less like a chore.
From the minute I walked in, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. There was none of that awkward “sit in the chair and stare at yourself in the mirror for 30 minutes” feeling. The conversation was good, the atmosphere was relaxed, and everybody seemed genuinely happy to be there.
The shop itself has a really cool sports vibe, which I loved. It feels like a mix between a classic neighborhood barber shop and a sports hangout. If you like sports, you’ll definitely appreciate the atmosphere. Even if you don’t, it’s still a fun, comfortable place to sit back and get cleaned up. It beats sitting in some overly fancy salon wondering if you accidentally walked into a place where the haircut costs more than your monthly electric bill.

Speaking of price, the haircut was very affordable. That was another big plus. These days, it seems like you can somehow spend $50 just by walking through the front door of certain barber shops, so it was nice to find a place in Madison, Indiana, where you can get a great haircut without needing to apply for financing.
Most importantly, the haircut turned out great. They took their time, paid attention to what I wanted, and I left looking considerably less like I had been living alone in the woods for three months. That’s really all you can ask for.
