Optum Primary Care offers a positive experience for patients, particularly with Dr. Nettleman and Dr. Amber Hussain, both known for their personable and expert care. Patients appreciate the new facility and the convenience of virtual visits. However, some concerns have been raised regarding the transition from traditional appointments to virtual care options.
We have been getting the runaround for last 3 weeks. My husband needs to get a referral for a procedure but only has a small window of time due to vacation time. We called his dr to ask and the office and his nurse said it was done. But IU said nope. This is back and forth for 3 weeks. Then we were told it was with the referral dept. a dept that everyone works from home … hmmmm. Strange. We tried yesterday and they gave us a number. Its a fax number!!! Hmmm again. ??! To shut us up?? I tried today. I may/may not had luck. We will see. I also learned.. according to her… that the dr just sent the referral 3 days ago!! Not 3 weeks ago!!! Dr. Nettleman is the best! He is very nice and personable and is always on time for my appointments. I had previously been seeing a different doctor here who I wasn’t pleased with, but fortunately for me they left and I ended up seeing Dr. Nettleman instead and I’m so happy I did. He is great! And the new facility is very nice.
My husband has very sick with respiratory issues. He’s much worse and the suggested the 3rd virtual visit. Thank goodness we have option of Urgent Care!! First no doctor, replaced by nurse practitioner now replaced with virtual visits??
