DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Following an almost year long treatment fiasco, my final visit to Mr. Poer was just today. At which time this non- caring, negligent, and oh so egotistical health care provider advised me that there was nothing else that he could do for me...Not even a referral to someone that was capable of doing the work that he was paid, very well, to perform. Not "Hey, how about a refund. Because after a year of treatment, you dont have upper implants or a denture that fits..and the implant that you do have is so I'll fitted that its causing lacerations on your lower gums."... None of that from the good dentist. Just " Nothing more I can do for you." This after, of course, an upfront fee of not quite twenty-three thousand dollars. This amount for both upper and lower implants and the treatment needed to get me to this goal. I should have ran for the door when I was informed by Mr. Poer that unfortunately I would not be receiving any sedation for the surgery that took almost four hours. The sedation that was clearly a huge selling point for myself. Having undergone years, and years of periodontal procedures to extend the life of my teeth. No, I would remain fully conscious for the 22 extractions. For the bone graphing in my lower jaw, as well as four rods...which should have been six, were drilled into my lower jaw bone. Three hours and almost for ty minutes with my mouth open as far as it could possibly open, with sensations and sounds unlike any I had ever had to endure. However, I believed that the end result would far outweigh the discomfort and sacrifices that not just me, but those closest to me would be making. I could not have been more wrong. Following this traumatic surgical procedure I was given temporary upper and lower dentures to wear for the three to four month long period that my mouth would be healing. The lowers were never worn. Not one single time, as they were impossible to fit into my mouth with the extremely to large upper denture. Poer merely shrugging his shoulders when he "tried" to place them in my mouth post-op.The temporary upper was lined, double lined, and still fell out of my mouth with every sneeze, cough, giggle, and any and all attempts to chew food. Ergo, I have been a year unable to eat any kind of solid food, having lost over thirty pounds in this process. This is all minimal when compared to the butchering my mouth has undergone while trying to get an implant to fit that was about twice as big as it should have been. Dont ask me what all the measuring and molds are supposed to accomplish, as I have had more putty shoved in my mouth over the last year than most likely any other patient this man has treated, and still do not have an implant that fits, or comes close to working for that matter. And another upper denture... that was supposed to be an implant, that is larger than the temporary denture that was already impossible to keep in my mouth. Truly unbelievable treatment. And while being tortured in the implant resizing, it was "accidentally" glued into place. Leaving me with an inability to remove it at all...rubbing sores in my lower mouth and on my tongue that only antibiotics could get rid of. Followed by a two hour long procedure to cut, or should I say "saw" said implant out of my mouth. All of this, as well as to many other atrocities to mention accompanied with an office manager that violated HIPPA to the nth when she messaged several members of her family interoffice communication that I had with the facility. Any personal and clinical information text right to her family. To say this so called Dentist was negligent, and didn't even come close to doing what he promised is being kind...He caused harm. In a position that allows so much latitude in patient care, the entire world should be made aware of this man. And act in accordance. I mean after all, all that money, all that time, all the pain, suffering, and self doubt that I have dealt with in the last eleven months you would like to think I would have som
