Gene was a very good friend of my grandfather, James Long- Most knew him as Jim, a crossing guard for Kokomo School District. Gene had been his barber “since there were dinosaurs” they’d often tell me. All through my childhood, it was a bi-weekly ritual to spend an hour in this shop. I remember how glad Grandpa Jim was that Gene gave me my first haircut. He was such a staple of my childhood in Kokomo that, to me, this little shop is a bigger landmark than The Kokomo Gas Tower. Walk-in Zack took me right away and gave me a wonderful haircut/shave and trimmed up my goatee and eyebrows. Wonderful price, being from out of town he told me about things in Kokomo. ???

Excellent Barber shop very affordable by far one of the best around, he charges $14 for a haircut which is about $10 cheaper than any other barber shop or salon in the area I honestly cannot complain
