Parnell Commercial Driving School is a premier commercial driving school in Southern Indiana and the Metro Louisville area. The school offers a safe, educated, and professional learning environment with a superbly clean and modern facility. The friendly and supportive staff, including instructors Richard and Chris, provide individualized attention to ensure students understand the material and perform well. The school's onsite CDL Test Site certified by the state of Indiana expedites the process to obtain a CDL after completing training. With patient and helpful instructors, Parnell Commercial Driving School is the ideal place to obtain a CDL and start a career in truck driving.
Got my CDL-A with no restrictions in about 5 weeks. Testing was done on-site and I got a job offer on-site. All the instructors were very kind, encouraging, and throurough. A lot of local commercial businesses and municipal utility companies send their people to Mr. P's, which is a good sign in of itself, and I appreciated being able to network with other students with a diverse range of careers.
I would also mention that I'm noticeably queer, and while attending the Parnell Commercial Driving School I always felt comfortable and respected.

A great school very helpful. Had an awesome experience. I would definitely recommend it. Andrew is very helpful and the way he teaches made the learning process a lot smoother. That guy is definitely underpaid and needs a raise. O was very helpful in the classroom and on the simulator. I wish I would’ve tried a little bit harder to try to get him to buy some pizza though. Rodney was very helpful enrolling me into the school I would definitely recommend 10 out of 10
The instructors here are amazing. They are very patient. I have absolutely no experience driving a semi and they are being very patient teaching me how to unlearn the habits I picked up driving a personal vehicle with a manual transmission. I can't give enough praise to the instructors and staff at Parnell. They are very helpful from start to finish. I will recommend any person wanting to obtain a CDL to attend this school. My instructor Kenny was absolutely the best. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ first and foremost on getting me through but second place would go to Kenny. My first week driving I thought I would never learn but they were all very patient and encouraging....read full review
