I’ve been going to Zen since moving to this area. My last experience was not great. I requested a shape on my nails, and the tech, whom I have no idea of her name (she was an older lady with glasses), didn’t understand me. I got my nails done Friday at 4:45, by Saturday morning, the gel manicure was already pealing. It’s now Wednesday, and 7 of my nails are already coming off. This is ridiculous.

I have been a loyal fan of Zen nails for 7 years now but in the last year and a half the quality at the salon has decreased. Pedicures at the salon are always consistently good but manicure experience wholeheartedly relies on who is doing them. In the last year I have had the owner and manager Andrea do my nails twice and both times it has been a horrible experience from start to finish.
This most recent time last Thursday March 26th, I received a gel x manicure. The nail prep was rough. My cuticles were nicked twice causing me to bleed. I like doing my nails here with Hellen. She’s an amazing nails tech. The only problem with this place is they never respect appointments and they take other clients at the time of tour appointment
