My husband and I met Mychal in spring 2018 when he hosted a financial fitness event for teachers! I loved that he was supporting public school teachers specifically, because they often are targeted many non-salary benefit opportunities (life insurance policies, cancer policies, etc) that are pitched based on FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt). Finally, an ally for teachers! From 2018-2021, Mychal has led us through a prescriptive program to evaluate our annual spending/debt/savings, tax strategy/filing, insurance policies (life, home, auto), kids planning (college & estate). We aligned in these key areas with appropriate documents in place that provide deep peace of mind. It's been a pleasure to meet members of Mychal's team in the more recent years who care for us with the same depth as Mychal. Our hard work with Mychal has allowed us to buy a new home when rates were amazing in 2021 (and shortly after having a second kiddo), navigate a 11-month job transition, upgrade vehicles, and manage overall rising consumer costs. Our goals for future decades are clear and the plan to them is known! We love Mychal's approach to modeling and data to show us our annual progress!
