It offers amazing sound and acoustics, making it an ideal setting for various performances, from classical quartets to tributes. The venue itself is a historical and visual treat, drawing an eclectic crowd for events like Candlelight Concerts hosted by Fever. The cathedral's unique architecture, particularly the stunning ceiling, adds to the memorable experience. Those who have attended Candlelight Concerts, such as The Tribute to Lauryn Hill and The Tribute to Beyoncé, have been impressed by the talented performers and the cathedral's exceptional acoustics.
The musicians were fabulous and so talented. I’m a huge Fleetwood Mac fan, and thought I might be taking a risk to hear their music played on strings only. But my expectations were exceeded!
We have been to the Scottish Rite Cathedral multiple times to see the Candlelight Concerts by Fever and always love them. But the Tribute to Fleetwood Mac was our favorite! Incredible sound and atmosphere. The building itself is something to admired. The architecture is awe inspiring and carries the music beautifully. The musicians were absolutely outstanding! I could watch that concert over and over and not get tired of it. We took our parents as a gift and they were blown away by everything. What a lovely way to spend an evening. We will continue to go to these amazing concerts. Highly, highly recommend!
My wife and I went as a celebration for our 30th anniversary. I chose this venue due to the Architecture and beauty. The quartet consisted of 3 violinist and one cello player. It was the music of Queen and Abba. We sat in section A second row up from the stage. Hundreds of candles were all on the stage with just a group of 4 chairs in the center. They played for exactly 1 hour. Once the lights dimmed the ambiance was incredible. Very intimate affair. No bad seats at all. My wife loved it so much that we are planning on going to a different one.
