About Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center at 5610 Crawfordsville Rd.
The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center is described as a great place for help overall, where many have had an incredibly rewarding experience. Reviews note it can be a tough road, as managing mental health does not happen in one visit but is a process. The clinical team, including psychiatrists and therapists, often receives high praise for being wonderful, down-to-earth, and compassionate, with specific commendation for their clinical competency and comprehensive approach. Patients report feeling cared for as a human and not just a number, attributing significant improvement to this care. The office is described as amazingly friendly, with super nice and understanding receptionists. While some therapists are noted as hit-or-miss, the experience improves for those who find a good match, and patients are given resources for additional help. A clinic policy requires two to three therapist appointments before seeing a psychiatrist. Overall, despite individual variations in needs, many patients have been helped a lot and highly recommend the center for support, advice, proper medication, and coping mechanisms.
I have been going here for a little over a year now. Overall, my therapist Edna and my Doctor, Dr. Matthewson, have been great. I give my team 5 stars that have been helping me through my mental health battle.
I had an incredibly rewarding experience with Dr. Butler and Leah Pyle, LCSW. You could tell they really had a heart for what they are doing and care about their patients as a human and not just a number.
I have had a long road with my mental health journey, seeing the entire spectrum of clinical expertise for nearly two years. Countless therapists, NPs, MDs, diagnoses - you name it - I saw them all. A great place for help overall, receptionist ladies are super nice and understanding. You do need to have at least 2-3 therapist appointments at the clinic before you can see a psychiatrist, but wasn’t an issue for me. Dr. James T is a wonderful therapist and has helped me tremendously with my anxiety disorder and my depression. I’m always given resources for additional help after every session. Everyone’s needs are different with therapy and psychiatrist help, but I’ve been helped a lot here and highly recommend it.
