From the initial consultation to the final touches, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs. The quality is top-notch, and the pool has quickly become the highlight of our backyard. The project was completed on time with great communication throughout the process. We highly recommend Perma Pool for anyone looking to build a pool. Thank you!
Typically people do reviews to vent their anger against a company when things don't go according to plan or when they feel like they have been done wrong. This isn't one of those reviews. We met with several pool builders in our area in the fall of 2022 and specifically with Dan Majestic in October. Dan was fantastic to meet with, was intimately knoedgable about Perma Pool and the build process, had answers to every question we had, was very prompt in getting our written quote back to us and even gave us his personal cell phone number if any other questions came up. I felt like that was pretty normal for a pool salesman, then Dan told us he is the owner. Kinda took me back for a minute. At first I was impressed, then I was skeptical of why the owner of the company had to be this involved in the process. I took a few days a d did a ton of research on the company, it's history and on Dan himself. I'll save you the time, it's because he wants to, not because he has to. At our initial meeting, before we put money down, Dan told us if we decided to use them we would have a dig day of 4/17/23 and promised we would be swimming in a warm pool for our annual Memorial Day Weekend party. Fast forward through a lot of menial conversation and down payment to 3/22 when I get an email with things we need to finalize before our start date/dig day of 4/10. That's right, we started a week early! This is when I started dealing with Neal Weliver, my project manager. This guy is on it! I can't imagine having as many irons in the fire as Neal does and never getting burnt, maybe he does but never on our project. He was always available, always answered my calls and had a swers for me the same day if he didn't know when we talked. Dig day! Doug was our team leader with his team being George, Greg and truck drivers Rob and Charles. I had to apologize to them. It was entertaining to watch these guys work so on the days I was home I popped out a chair and sat back to watch. I hate when people just sit and watch and I felt guilty doing it so I always made sure I had a cooler with cold drinks in it and even grilled lunch for a couple of the crews. These guys not only dug the hole but they set the pool, plumbed it, backfield, set the equipment, filled it with water and gave me a really good grade for me to work with later. Next up was Frank and his team to pour the concrete around the pool. I had a significant amount of concrete already done for a patio before they got there and the pool and concrete work done by Perma was perfectly square a d placed exactly where it needed to be for grade and fall. Their concrete work around the pool is pheonominal! The arches on each end proved to be a little challenging but a little overhead drone work by me and some adjustments by them resulted in perfectly placed symmetrical arcs. During the process of figuring out the new concrete around the pool I told them about needing to have some existing concrete ripped out and repaired due to some previous mistakes resulting in some cracks and flaking. Dan hooked me up with Stan Baber to do the coating on the concrete. Stan fixed the cracks then coated all of the concrete ensuring the new concrete would perfectly match the existing concrete and even stenciled the "block" around the border of the pool giving it a more custom look. This part just tied it all together making it all look amazing! We went with the auto cover for convenience and safety. It was worth every penny we paid for it. Juan and Conner did a great job installing it making sure we have flawless operation for years to come. All of this work and great craftsmanship couldn't happen without great behind the scenes help, and Virgil made sure that part was covered. Never a gap, never waiting on parts, never waiting for the next step, it was run like a well oiled machine. We have built a few homes, barns and several other construction projects and THIS pool project was the easiest, least stressful project that we have ever
