They will not respond to complaints about their grounds whatsoever. Utterly ridiculous and disrespectful to those who are grieving.

DO NOT BURY YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. This place has been nothing but heartbreaking. Again and again, I’ve been disappointed and deeply saddened by the lack of care, the unreturned phone calls, and the complete absence of accountability from management. Families trust this cemetery with the people they love most, and that trust is absolutely not respected here.

We are extremely dissatisfied with the grounds keeping at our parents grave. How disappointing to arrive and not be able to read the headstone because it is covered with crabgrass and mowing debris. We just cleaned this headstone in May and trimmed all the overgrown grass away from the edges. We have NEVER seen the condition of the cemetery to be so overgrown and weedy. This is not what my parents paid for when choosing Oaklawn Cemetery. In your business you need to respect the headstones and keep the grounds in good condition. You can buy crabgrass control products. It appears no one in management ever walks this cemetery to see if it is properly maintained. ...read full review
