LA Fitness is clean and meets my fitness needs. I usually swim laps or do water fitness workouts when I go, and it’s rare that the pool has a closing. The water temperature is appropriate for lap swimming and water aerobics. I took a picture of me in one of my aquatic fitness outfits. Lol
Went for a trial but trainer is more interested in what he wants instead of what I want to do.He kept asking about personal training.I was thinking about joining but not sure.I like the facility but would like to have someone show me through the machines and tour the club without being hassled about personal training.I wanted a club near me but will go to Michigan Rd location to see how it is.
The female staff person at the front desk doesn't interact with members. She speaks if you speak first and doesn't acknowledge you when you leave. The machines are dusty, dirty and some have cracks in the cushions. I've been at 8am on weekends as well as 5pm and the floors are dusty. The lockers rooms are the same dusty and need a total clean up. Some faucets are loose as well as the locks on the stalls. The lockers are dirty inside and the ceiling needs a scrubbing. I don't spend alot of time here-just come in, work out and leave. The manager needs to make sure the facility is up to par for members. Presentation is everything.
